HI Savages!

I am gonna be in and out of the “dashboard” As we are downsizing housing for several years to save the moolah to get our homestead in the Northwest purchased! So we are moving to a very teenie house or apt with cheap rent, buy local foods and take the bus or walk!

So we are packin’ and yard salein’, etc. so I will be writing when I can, and sharing some great stuff in the meantime!

Today I want to share about Kids: We homeschooled and there are many reasons why. the following are articles, vids  and blogs that speak in detail to why we did…

Teacher’s resignation letter: ‘My profession … no longer exists’

Facebook posting on drugging of our children, including great articles and vids( Disclaimer>> CCHR has fantastic and factual vids, but remember they are a Scientology arm! )

Our Grandparents had it Right.

This little blog of the day hits home. It is well written and well thought. Preppers are not what most think. We are not slathering rednecks with only a fifth grade education lamenting the end of the universe and looking for zombies to shoot.

The art of prepping is just returning to our roots of only 70 or 80 years ago. The Prepper’s best possession is their mind. We are not worried about gov’t takeovers or bankruns, although our preparations may help us with that. Most Preppers I have met are worried about more common things, job loss, the cost of replacing crappy goods or getting healthy food.

We absorb knowledge that others have let fall to the wayside and we teach it to others. Canning, Hunting for food, Repairing Washing Machines and other items to keep the going when others are spending a mint on fast food or cheap appliances. With our wits about us we can survive anything. Even a Zombie Apocalypse! 😉

FOOOD!!! I love Food. I am fat. Why? Cause I love food.

Ok, I am not “fat”, but I am no PX hard body candidate, cuz; I love food.

I love to cook, but I have the kid at home, 6 that call and want shit, ( grown ups? I ain’t got no stinkin’ grown up kids…) and the cats and the dogs and the ferrets and the snake and the prepping and the blog and the business.. and ( tap tap tap ) who I am forgetting? OHHHH! Yep, the spouse!

So, I developed a scheme and I am loving it! It is called Freezer to Crock pot. Alot of online Divas and Devos are doin’ stuff like this, I know.. BUT I am removing the canned soups and the MSG’s ( the Hunny cannot have them), and working to create a fast meal for 4 in a gallon bag that I can just pop in the Crock Pot, throw on low and go about the day.

I thought for a few Fridays I would share them. My biggest need in vegetarian ones and shellfish ones. No a lot of those out there that I like or see as simple enough.

So, The first goals were to realize what can’t be done in the Pot for any meal and how to schedule a day to do it. I am not really a “sit for 10 hours on a Sunday and bust out 100 gallon baggies of meals” type of Savage. I shop about one a week for goods besides the prepper stuff and I try to have my canned and dehydes be my bulk cooking times.

I realized that I use a lot of stuff already basically in the house and that I do use what I buy. I also did not try anything I knew was too “different” in this house. I got some semi picky eaters and if they gotta eat stuff they hate to survive, I will be diggin’ graves..Narrow ones, cuz they starved to death.

I started with “rue blocks”. We have a gravy issue here. We worship gravy and it’s consort, bacon in this house. Gravy does not make itself very well in the ol’ CP. So I made a mess of rue, (equal butter and flour) and then froze it in blocks in the ice tray. I can throw the frypan on the stove at the end of the Crock Pot cooking and make gravy with the broths in there in a bout 10 minutes. Or I can add arrowroot to the CP and get a sauce. But to cook the sauces all day breaks them down.

I then took all the faves I could modify in the cookbook and checked out a couple crock pot cook books from the library and started copying like a cat!!  Then I realized that I can put most together after I get home from the store in about 30 minutes, ( I have the stuff to make about 6 to 10 after a trip) and then throw them in the freezer for the night I list them on the menu or for a day I know will be hectic.

I have about 31 recipes to try and share and I think I will share a couple at a time every Friday after the foodie blog! If you try one and improve it, let me know… I am always in need of improvement! ( hmmm, new page at the top for recipes… why, yes, Savage, get right on that…)

Ok, on with the De-Programming…

I saved Sheltered, Hygienic and Healthy( see cosmic ethic blog) for one blog because they are the apex of what is conned out of us  on a daily basis by the Gov’t and Corporations! I want to not just throw out examples but think about them for a minute or more.  These three points in the ethic really cover all the others. If we take away these three, we can end the others. My thoughts that contain facts can be Googled quite easily, so I will not do the work for you…

Shelter has been messed with for years. On the local level we take away the right to live in a home of one’s choice by over mandating the live in owner of a shelter. Rentals are different, as you have a business owner that is responsible for the well being of the tenant. If I wish to live in a yurt and haul water, that should be my business. We have many codes that make the cost of renting or buying prohibitive.

You can argue back with “safety concerns”. The Amish do well. Many people around the world live by choice hauling water and choosing to have no electric. Humans survived 1000’s of years with out many of the conveniences we have today. On the flip side, we have homes built now that REQUIRE the coding, and the lights on and the garbage service to the dump, but NO one can afford them. A recent example is my attempt to make payment arrangements for our Elec. heat. I have the money to pay the bill on a budget , but they want it all now, with no arrangement! When asking the PUC, ( a gov’t agency ) to help me convince the Elec Co to listen to my budget arrangements, they side with the Elec Co. or tell me to get Assistance from another Gov’t agency! This may bring homelessness to my family. This is a stressor that can be solved by negotiating my PAYING MY BILL, which I WANT TO DO, within my budget. However, the Utility/Gov’t complex has laws and policies that make this virtually impossible.  Some may say I am living past my means… To have heat in my house in Winter in the Midwest  IS NOT past my means.

Hygenics is equally an issue. My mom used to be quite mean when she saw a “dirty” looking person and say, “Soap is cheap!” But is it really? Corporations add carcinogens to our cleaners and body washes.  These raise the prices of the soap and in the long run cost the  Americans millions in health care costs. To make or buy a soap that is healthy for us can be expensive and “not convenient”. In the mean time we have laws about using public bathrooms or Gov’t agencies setting policies that confuse the reader about what is “clean”.

This overlaps with Healthy! We have the right to care for ourselves as we see fit and, if our health is failing, to make our own decisions about life. I will start with the Abortion laws! Many people think the Abortion laws are way to liberal. You would be surprised how really restrictive they are! I know of several cases where the fetus in the womb was dead and the Gov’ts intervention has put the mother in extreme danger while trying to get proper health care. Of the 4 cases I would share if I could, all mothers WANTED the child and HAD no CHOICE but to flee the state they were in or pay thousands of dollars to get the care needed.

A second and more pressing example is Obamacare, the FDA and Insurance Companies. This is a Gov’t/healthcare/industrial complex of obscene proportions! When the Original Obamacare bill was being raced through congress I,and 2 other people took on the responsibility to READ the bill. It was 1100 pages and was being rammed through committees as fast as could be. The policies SET after the signing of the bill total 20,000 ( YES! Twenty THOUSAND) pages. The bill does not really require anything BUT that YOU and I MUST BUY Insurance! If I am opposed to Medical Mechanization and wish to live the natural way, I WILL GO TO JAIL for not paying out income I DO NOT have for something I MAY NOT WANT or NEED. Flip this again, and you have drugs, chemical, and radiation being forced thru your body as “normal” or “wellness” procedures. Once again, the gov’t and the corporations are groups together to bilk money from you and in the meantime, you are not being given Health.

On top of this the FDA passes drugs to us that are found to be killing us, but restricts healthy foods from the market. An example is Raw Milk. Many people have found raw milk to be a healthy alternative to the antibiotic shot up cows milk in the store. However, the FDA makes this decision for you, and in the meantime refuses to take to task many foods being placed in your stores from very unhealthy conditions, including factory farmed pork and Monsanto sprayed veggies. They also see NO issue with fish cells being cloned into Strawberries or Tomatoes! I am pretty sure the Nature has a reason why the cells are in their rightful food source!

And these are just the basics of consideration. If we covered many more of the examples that come to mind, we would be here ALL DAY! With that, we have the complex considerations of the police state and the programming of the mind.. BUT THAT is a whole ‘nother blog!

We interrupt our conversation on Cosmic Ethic and Law to discuss the following.. Detroit Mich.

Maybe nobody has noticed, but Detroit, one of the top manufacturing cities int he world is breathing the death rattle. I have been reading stories and watching vids for a while now and the city and surrounding areas look like they were carpet bombed. And they were. By who?

By derivative salesmen.. the too big too fail Wall Street bastards that brought you the housing bubble and the soon to be released thriller STUDENT LOAN BUBBLE!!!!! ( With ominous echo)

Let me share a vid I find disturbing:

detroit ghost town

This is about  4 years ago. Inn 10 years the city has lost manufacturing jobs, EMS, Bus service and street lights. Houses are being foreclosed on at a rate that is phenomenal, even in the US.  It is estimated that there are 33,000 ( YES! Thirtythree THOUSAND) houses siting empty in Detroit! How can this be? We have over 50,000 homeless in NYC alone, ( registered per week with shelters.. imagine the number NOT registered!), many families WITH jobs, but we have empty houses because the banks are so greedy.

Detroit’s debt is 14 BILLION $$$$ due to Wall Street Financiers because the city invested in a derivative scheme that tanked and the money was rolled over and over to try and recover it and ballooned to a debt owed. The irony is that the only profit being seen is from the city owned casinos that must send all profit to pay on the Wall Street Gambling debt! Whether the city council was in on the fraud is telling and matters not at this point.. Why?

Because, even though Michigan citizens voted down a law that would allow the state to take over failing municipalities, Gov. Snyder appointed an attorney to be the Czar of Detroit, paying him 275,000$ annually and a 200,000$ expense account to “fix” Detroit!

Another Irony in the making, rumor has it the Attorney, Kevyn Orr, worked for one of the Firms Detroit owes part of the $14 Billion to.

So, while many in America are working retail and service wages, eating peanut butter and crackers for dinner, skipping medications and thanking our corrupt Gov’t for us NOT being “broke” like Cyprus or New Zealand, we have Detroit and the sequester.  Look up, Americans. Take off the sheeple garb, get out of the Wal-Mart out look and PAY ATTENTION!!!!

Let me begin by apologizing for “tomorrow” turning into several days later. I suffer from migraines and in some cases can function except when writing.. It would have been verrry scarrryyy…This baby dragged on for 3 days…

Anyway, enough excuses. on with some thoughts.

So, I figured that the best way to consider the laws of the human and how they are in direct contradiction of the Cosmic Ethic is to work with the basic needs and then show three examples with each, I will supply some links as I find them.. However, I encourage you to look up this info yourself. Don’t just listen to me.. go check it out:

1) Eat: All human HAVE to eat, right? In that we have the right to eat food that nourishes us. Otherwise eating is pointless.

http://inthesetimes.com/article/3358/feeding_the_hungry_is_a_crime/  is a link to a story in Orlando FLA, 2007 where people have been arrested for feeding the hungry.

In 2011 a woman in Oak Park, Michigan faced 93 days in jail for growing a garden in her own yard so she could feed herself.

Within Bureaucratic policy making, there are many stories of CPS workers threatening to take away children i n homes that “hoard” food. While not “Illegal”, those storing food, ( such as myself), are considered mentally ill and are scaring our children by wishing to be prepared. Many CPS agencies have a policy that a family must be investigated if turned in for “hoarding” food.

2) Drink: By this, of course I mean the most basic; water.

The first laws I will point out do not exist any more, but graphically illustrate Law as a con-job. White only water fountains of the South. Until the late 60’s early 70’s many public places had water fountains for every one marked “coloreds only” 7 to 10 were marked “whites only”. Imagine being arrested for the right to quench your thirst.

Utah, Oregon and Colorado have laws limiting your RIGHT to catch rainwater in a container and use it to quench your thirst or even water your plants.  And it is supposedly outright illegal in 9 states.I have not had time to check up on this one, so if anyone knows them I would love to know which ones!

Among national ” laws” are water trading laws. Within these laws big corps are given rights to drain water from our great lakes and other water areas and sell the water to other countries or bottle it and sell it to you! Conversely, these laws give the right tot he Corp to sue YOU if you access the same water and purify it for your drinking needs!

3) Rest: We all need sleep. many time we cannot even control our bodies when they decide it’s time. While most of us have a roof over our head, many do not, yet they still need to rest. Instead of a gov’t and society that aid in helping the poor and homeless find safe places to rest we have the following…

Orange County CA among many other counties have outlawed sleeping in cars. I mean, unless it is someone else’s car. The person is off the street and obviously has no place else to go, or they wouldn’t be in their damn car!

http://www.nationalhomeless.org/publications/crimreport/meanestcities.html links to a site describing the criminalization of homelessness including open sleeping  and sleeping in tents in informal camping areas. I will consider these laws 2 and3 and refer back to this link in several more areas.

4)Thinking and Communicating: The First Amendment covers this in our constitution and I can cover the laws pretty quickly here…. Free speech zones set up after the passing of the patriot act.  “Hate speech” which is obviously a terrible thing, but based in thought and responsibility for speaking out. This is a cultural issue and not the gov’ts right to arrest a person for having thoughts. The Criminalization of thought thru mental illness laws, specifically my mention of CPS and “hoarding”, ( Not real hoarding, obviously, but prepping for disaster, job loss, etc. ).

5)Evacuate: Here is one that gets me every time. I can mention old laws of the south of White only Bathrooms. Imagine having to pee so bad and having to risk arrest to GO!

Currently we have lawmakers in some states wanting to have arrests for people using the wrong gender bathroom. You can argue this is for the safety of women or whatever, but if the bathroom is a lock door, one person, why outlaw the use to one gender? I also point back to the Homeless link for info on the criminalization of using otherwise public bathrooms if one is homeless.

What really gets me is the little people laws.. Specifically the case of  3 year old Dillion of Oklahoma. He was potty training and “HAD to GO.” He was standing in the front yard and went pee. His grandmother was fined $2,500.00!!!!  Now, I am not saying we should all have the right to whip it out or go in the streets, but this is a very good example of the basic human need being restrained. the grandmother had already explained to Dillon he needed to come in and use to bathroom before he needed to go so bad. Why fine the family for the simple needs of a 3 year old????

6) Ambulate:  Movement. From the basic of moving from room to room to traveling. We are restricted with “driving” licenses that are taken away at a whim. We register a car and then the plates are run constantly for no reason. You could be traveling in your car, following all the traffic “laws” and the “law” allows for the cop to monitor your plates anyway. This makes me feel weird, and not wish to travel at will. Ambulating, including walking or rolling ( if you have the wheelchair need), in many areas can merit a cop stop, due to policies and statutes made up by law makers. I once watched a man get ticketed for “dancing” up a sidewalk. He was stopped by the police for suspicious behavior. He had just had a good experience, was sober, but happy and told by the cops it was illegal for him to dance unless there was a parade. He laughed and kept dancing and was ticketed 500$. He was AMBULATING his way home. No issues.. His walking included dancesteps of happiness. This was illegal!

I will cover Sheltered, Hygienic and Healthy in the next blog!
