Ok, on with the De-Programming…
I saved Sheltered, Hygienic and Healthy( see cosmic ethic blog) for one blog because they are the apex of what is conned out of us on a daily basis by the Gov’t and Corporations! I want to not just throw out examples but think about them for a minute or more. These three points in the ethic really cover all the others. If we take away these three, we can end the others. My thoughts that contain facts can be Googled quite easily, so I will not do the work for you…
Shelter has been messed with for years. On the local level we take away the right to live in a home of one’s choice by over mandating the live in owner of a shelter. Rentals are different, as you have a business owner that is responsible for the well being of the tenant. If I wish to live in a yurt and haul water, that should be my business. We have many codes that make the cost of renting or buying prohibitive.
You can argue back with “safety concerns”. The Amish do well. Many people around the world live by choice hauling water and choosing to have no electric. Humans survived 1000’s of years with out many of the conveniences we have today. On the flip side, we have homes built now that REQUIRE the coding, and the lights on and the garbage service to the dump, but NO one can afford them. A recent example is my attempt to make payment arrangements for our Elec. heat. I have the money to pay the bill on a budget , but they want it all now, with no arrangement! When asking the PUC, ( a gov’t agency ) to help me convince the Elec Co to listen to my budget arrangements, they side with the Elec Co. or tell me to get Assistance from another Gov’t agency! This may bring homelessness to my family. This is a stressor that can be solved by negotiating my PAYING MY BILL, which I WANT TO DO, within my budget. However, the Utility/Gov’t complex has laws and policies that make this virtually impossible. Some may say I am living past my means… To have heat in my house in Winter in the Midwest IS NOT past my means.
Hygenics is equally an issue. My mom used to be quite mean when she saw a “dirty” looking person and say, “Soap is cheap!” But is it really? Corporations add carcinogens to our cleaners and body washes. These raise the prices of the soap and in the long run cost the Americans millions in health care costs. To make or buy a soap that is healthy for us can be expensive and “not convenient”. In the mean time we have laws about using public bathrooms or Gov’t agencies setting policies that confuse the reader about what is “clean”.
This overlaps with Healthy! We have the right to care for ourselves as we see fit and, if our health is failing, to make our own decisions about life. I will start with the Abortion laws! Many people think the Abortion laws are way to liberal. You would be surprised how really restrictive they are! I know of several cases where the fetus in the womb was dead and the Gov’ts intervention has put the mother in extreme danger while trying to get proper health care. Of the 4 cases I would share if I could, all mothers WANTED the child and HAD no CHOICE but to flee the state they were in or pay thousands of dollars to get the care needed.
A second and more pressing example is Obamacare, the FDA and Insurance Companies. This is a Gov’t/healthcare/industrial complex of obscene proportions! When the Original Obamacare bill was being raced through congress I,and 2 other people took on the responsibility to READ the bill. It was 1100 pages and was being rammed through committees as fast as could be. The policies SET after the signing of the bill total 20,000 ( YES! Twenty THOUSAND) pages. The bill does not really require anything BUT that YOU and I MUST BUY Insurance! If I am opposed to Medical Mechanization and wish to live the natural way, I WILL GO TO JAIL for not paying out income I DO NOT have for something I MAY NOT WANT or NEED. Flip this again,and you have drugs, chemical, and radiation being forced thru your body as “normal” or “wellness” procedures. Once again, the gov’t and the corporations are groups together to bilk money from you and in the meantime, you are not being given Health.
On top of this the FDA passes drugs to us that are found to be killing us, but restricts healthy foods from the market. An example is Raw Milk. Many people have found raw milk to be a healthy alternative to the antibiotic shot up cows milk in the store. However, the FDA makes this decision for you, and in the meantime refuses to take to task many foods being placed in your stores from very unhealthy conditions, including factory farmed pork and Monsanto sprayed veggies. They also see NO issue with fish cells being cloned into Strawberries or Tomatoes! I am pretty sure the Nature has a reason why the cells are in their rightful food source!
And these are just the basics of consideration. If we covered many more of the examples that come to mind, we would be here ALL DAY! With that, we have the complex considerations of the police state and the programming of the mind.. BUT THAT is a whole ‘nother blog!
