Our Grandparents had it Right.
This little blog of the day hits home. It is well written and well thought. Preppers are not what most think. We are not slathering rednecks with only a fifth grade education lamenting the end of the universe and looking for zombies to shoot.
The art of prepping is just returning to our roots of only 70 or 80 years ago. The Prepper’s best possession is their mind. We are not worried about gov’t takeovers or bankruns, although our preparations may help us with that. Most Preppers I have met are worried about more common things, job loss, the cost of replacing crappy goods or getting healthy food.
We absorb knowledge that others have let fall to the wayside and we teach it to others. Canning, Hunting for food, Repairing Washing Machines and other items to keep the going when others are spending a mint on fast food or cheap appliances. With our wits about us we can survive anything. Even a Zombie Apocalypse! š
